What Is Thrift & Strut?
Thrift & Strut is a one-of-a-kind fashion show fundraiser where creativity, community, and purpose collide.
Each participant represents a local nonprofit organization and competes in a themed thrifted fashion challenge, all while raising awareness and support for their chosen cause.
But this isn’t just a fashion show.
It’s a full experience.
How it works
The Surprise Theme
Participants receive a surprise theme challenge that sets the tone for the runway. The theme encourages creativity, storytelling, and bold expression, all through thrifted fashion.
The Thrifted Transformation
Participants source and style their entire look from thrifted or secondhand pieces. The goal? Turn pre-loved fashion into a runway-worthy statement that reflects both the theme and the heart of the nonprofit they represent.
The Runway Experience
On event night, participants take the stage to strut their styled look, share about the nonprofit they represent, and bring their personality to life on the runway. The evening also includes a social hour, raffle items, silent auction opportunities, and community connection.

There are two nonprofit winners at Thrift & Strut:
Judges’ Choice Award
Selected by a panel of judges based on:

People’s Choice Award
Chosen by guest votes during the event.
The more supporters a participant brings to cheer on their nonprofit, the stronger their chances of taking home this award!
Both winning nonprofits receive a designated portion of the event’s fundraising proceeds.
